46: I receive an MRQ Error code 72182 from the
CCRA website?
You receive an Error code 72182 from the CCRA because you have RRSP
income from a Home Buyer's Plan (HBP) but no Home Buyer's Plan
registered with CCRA.
For example:
You made a $1000 RRSP contribution. You stated in your return that you
want to designate $400 of the $1000 to repay to your Home Buyer's
Plan. CCRA rejects your return because they do not have on record a
registered Home Buyers Plan in your name.
You cannot use your RRSP contributions to repay a HBP that is
registered in your spouse's name. Check with CCRA to see if the HBP is
