Medical Expenses Worksheet

The Medical Expenses Worksheet summarizes claims for various types of medical expenses. The results forward to Schedule 1.

To open the Medical Expenses Worksheet, double-click on the form named "Medical" in the Form Manager.

Enter the start and end dates of the period of claim in the fields provided. They must be for a 12 month period, but do not have to coincide with a calendar year. The end date must fall sometime in 2014. The period cannot include dates claimed in any other year.

Section A - General Medical Expenses

This section derives its amount from the Itemized Medical Expenses Worksheet.

To open the Itemized Medical Expenses Worksheet, double-click on the form named "Medical Expenses " in the Form Manager.

Enter appropriate details for itemized expenses in the fields provided.

Section B - Specific Medical Expenses

This section derives its amount from the Itemized Special Medical Expenses Worksheet.

To open the Itemized Special Medical Expenses Worksheet, double-click on the form named "Medical -  Special" in the Form Manager.

Enter appropriate details for itemized expenses in the fields provided.

Section C - Dependants

 

Section D - Insurance

Enter appropriate details in the fields provided. If the returns are linked, the information regarding your spouse's paid private plans may already be filled.
