Canada Revenue Limitation
- Form T1273 only allows 15 occurrences in section 7 and 8.
Revenue Quebec Exclusions
- TaxTron does not handle tax returns in which there are more than two informations in Section 7 (Expenses incurred to earn income from a partnership (TP-80 – lines 485 to 487)
- TaxTron does not handle tax returns needing more than one form for Costs incurred for work on a building (TP-1086.R23.12)
- TaxTron does not handle tax returns indicating more than four deductions for Capital Cost Allowance (CCA) in the relevant form Income and Expenses from Rental Property (TP-128)
- TaxTron does not handle tax returns indicating more than six deductions for CCA in the relevant form Income and Expenses from Business/Profession (TP-80)
TaxTron T1 for Individuals
Completely FREE To start for the current tax year! You can prepare up to 20 returns using the software but you may need to purchase a license to print and/or file your return depending on your situation. Our 2018 tax preparation software does not require a license for returns under $31,000 total income (including seniors) or full-time students (4 months or more duration as indicated on your T2202A form). Previous years’ software requires a license to print and/or file any return.
System Requirements:
- Mac OS 10.7, or higher and an Intel processor is required. This product will NOT work on OS 10.6 or lower
- Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista or XP is required
Note: Users running on Windows XP need to ensure they have downloaded and installed the .NET Framework version 2 or higher package from Microsoft.

TaxTron T1 for Professionals
Prepare unlimited returns for your clients quickly and easily! Generate invoices from within the software. Electronically prepare and submit T1013 and T1135 forms for your clients.
TaxTron Professional is meant for practitioners who have an efiler number. An Efile number is required to electronically file corporate tax returns. You can obtain an Efiler Number from CRA.
System Requirements:
- Mac OS 10.7, or higher and an Intel processor is required. This product will NOT work on OS 10.6 or lower (TaxTron 2010 and earlier requires Mac OS 10.6 or earlier)

TaxTron T2 for Corporations
Prepare and file your T2 Corporate returns with ease! Enter your financial statement information using industry standard GIFI forms. Suitable for business owners and tax professionals alike! TaxTron T2 supports the preparation of the Alberta Provincial tax return, however we do not support the preparation of the Quebec CO-17.
TaxTron T2 is designed for taxpayers who want to file their own corporate tax return. To electronically file your own corporate return, you will need a web access code. You can obtain a web access code from CRA, if you don’t have one call 1-800-959-2803.
The software can be downloaded for free and you can file your corporate return for free if you have a Net Loss for accounting purposes (T2 General page 3, line 300). You only need to purchase a single license if you have a profit or net income of zero for accounting purposes. TaxTron Corporate (Single license) will allow you to file one corporate return per year with a net income greater or equal to zero (T2 General page 3, line 300).
